MEK 90

Introduction

MEK 90 is a specialty synthetic resin emulsion manufactured using selective acrylic monomers.

Due to its special chemical composition, MEK90 can be cross-linked with certain resins like urea formaldehyde, melamine formaldehyde etc. MEK 90 then forms glossy film at room temperature,
Which is quite tough in nature.

Application

MEK 90 is used in water base Ink manufacturing as a grinding media. MEK 90 is very effective binder for water base flexographic inks. It is also used as a clear over print and binder for in organic oxides for electro conductive coating used in electrofax system. It is a Binder and can be used for coating on metals like brass, copper etc.

Safety Data

HEALTH HAZARD: MEK 90 is a alkaline nature and harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin and use protective clothing, hand gloves, goggles etc., while handling this material. In case of contact or splash on eyes ,wash with copious amount of water and consult a physician.

FIRE HAZARD: MEK 90 is non- flammable
